Get Ahead of Roof Repair With A Maintenance Plan

June 25, 2018

The roof is not something a lot of homeowners give a lot of thought to on a day-to-day basis, yet it’s one of the most important parts of your home. It’s the first line of protection against the elements, after all — and a roof that becomes damaged or that is vulnerable to damage poses a safety risk to your household. In fact, it’s usually not until the roof experiences damage that homeowners often think about it — and what they’ll think about is how expensive repairs or replacement can end up being. Fortunately, this can be avoided if you invest in regular roof maintenance.

Invest in a Roof Maintenance Plan

Regular roof inspections can help you to avoid potentially costly repairs since they allow roofing contractors to identify issues before they develop into major problems. Preventing major problems by maintaining your roof can help to prevent wear and tear as well, which in turn can help to extend the life of your roof.

Here at Accord Roofing, we offer two roof maintenance plans that will allow you to monitor the health of your home’s roof and to help protect your home, your assets, and your family inside. The following are those two plans:

  • Gold Program – For $149 a year, we will perform a thorough 12-point inspection of your roof every six months. We will also provide free repair consultations and estimates in addition to a 50 percent discount on all roof repair work. Additionally, we will provide priority service in the event of storm damage.

  • Platinum Program – For $199 a year, you will get everything that’s included in the Gold Program. Additionally, we will provide free gutter cleaning services. Cleaning your gutters will help keep your gutters in good condition and will help to prevent roof leaks and water damage to your home’s roof, walls, and foundation.

Our 12-point inspections include a thorough evaluation of your flashing, roof valley, chimney, skylights, roof deck, shingles, and ventilation. We will also remove any debris that has collected on your roof to ensure that it doesn’t cause any damage to your shingles or flashing.

Routine maintenance may not seem that important, but it could help to prevent costly damage from occurring to your roof, while also helping to extend its life.
